Kokomo is directly on a beautiful, white, sand beach that stretches for miles. Walk about a mile to the right and you will find the remains of an old ship wreck. Walk to the left for some of the best bone fishing flats in the world. Explore the flats at low tide collecting sand dollars, starfish, and conch, etc. The 16’ Carolina Skiff is perfect for exploring Casuarina Point and Cherokee Sound. There are 16 blue holes in area – interesting snorkeling. The reef in front is great for snorkeling, too. |
